She is an avid reader and is constantly looking for ways to improve herself as well as the lives of those around her. She shares her love of basketball, family and being a mentor to the next generation as she shares on why she has landed here.

One of the four founders of the Where We Landed Podcast, Iris is passionate about anything connected to children and justice. Iris is a "lifer" of Marion being born and raised in the community but came back "kicking and screaming" but always knew this is where she wanted to raise her family.
